NEQC has a range of options for Agistment, from stables to shelter yards to paddocks. Our stables are well ventilated and have an automatic water, feed bin and hay rack with an attached yard. The shelter yards are large, partially enclosed yards. Both come with shared day paddocks; mares and geldings separated.

We have some private day paddocks available for use in conjunction with a stable or shelter yard. Our paddock Agistment is a large shared paddock, mixed gender, with low stocking rates.
Agisters have access to all of the centre’s riding facilities.

We offer Agistment long term (3 months plus), short term (up to 1 week), and mid term (1 week to 3 months).

We have secure tack lockers available for hire. Agistment is primarily self care, but arrangements can be made for special horse care services at an additional charge.

Riding Facilities

NEQC has excellent training facilities. We have an international sized indoor arena with lights, a large outdoor arena with floodlight, an olympic sized unenclosed outdoor arena with floodlights, a large enclosed jumping arena and a roundyard. There is a full set of show jumps available. There are on property trail rides through NEQC paddocks with some cross country jumps and access to the Mount Stromlo Forest Park trails.

NEQC is serviced by farriers, veterinarians, feed merchants and other essential equestrian services.
With coaches on site, instruction is available for new and established horse owners in both horsemanship and riding.

NEQC hold regular in house Dressage and Show Jumping competitions, available to all, including Agistment and riding school clients.
